So, I finally received an email back from the girl in charge. She said that she wuldn't be opposed to me adopting Digby, but still wants this family to meet him since he is still eligible for adoption and they have been waiting to meet him for sometime now. So, if I take him to the introduction and they like him, he is gone. If they don't like him, he could be mine. Yikes, why is doing the right thing so scary and hurtful sometimes. It is suppose to feel good, right?
scary, but just be strong. so far, nobody has chosen him, so perhaps he will not be a right fit for these people, either. if he IS, then you know that he is going to a good home.
i will pray you get to keep him!!! i wonder if it's against the rules to drop hints to the new family about how bad he is :) he he.
